KERATIN AMINO ACIDS (AND) POLYQUATERNIUM-7 (AND) POLYQUATERNIUM-16: Peptides and amino acids derived from silk associated with two high-density cationic polymers that provide high hair substantivity.

PROPERTIES AND COSMETIC USE

Hair conditioner. Forms a film on the hair fiber that provides greater shine, improved manageability, reduced static, and protects it from both physicochemical damage (perms, coloring, straightening, pollutants, UV radiation) and the effects of wet combing, which causes cuticle loss and denaturation of keratin fibers. When added to shampoos, it reduces irritation caused by surfactants.

SODIUM DNA (AND) POLYQUATERNIUM 16 (AND) WATER: High-polymerization DNA of plant origin (Wheat Germ) associated with a cationic polymer through an exclusive process, which dramatically increases its affinity for hair and skin.

PROPERTIES AND COSMETIC USE

Conditioner:Its overall positive charge makes it compatible with hair, allowing it to remain bound to the hair even after rinsing, neutralizing the negative charges and static electricity that hair acquires after being moistened. It promotes the dissipation of charges when the hair is combed or brushed.

Humectant:Due to the polar groups contained in the nucleotide chains, it retains up to 10,000 times its weight in water.

Film-forming:Due to its high degree of polymerization, it promotes an oriented coating of the hair fiber (substantivity). Purines maintain an acidic pH within the film, which prevents increased porosity and hair breakage.

Nourishing, Regenerating, and Revitalizing for the hair follicle:DNA is slowly biodegraded by epithelial enzymes called nucleases. The nucleoside phosphates thus released easily penetrate the skin, providing phosphate that activates biosynthetic processes and, consequently, tissue regeneration. This has been demonstrated in the treatment of radiation-induced or cell-toxic lesions.

Free Radical Scavenger and Antioxidant:inhibits lipoperoxidation processes in the hair caused by UV radiation, as the complex possesses antioxidant and free radical-scavenging properties.

Combability:dramatically increases comb glide (comb resistance test), improving styling and helping to prevent cuticle breakage during combing.

Anti-pollution:its highly polymerized structure and physicochemical characteristics allow it to trap certain environmental toxins (heavy metals) such as lead ions (from engine combustion) or cadmium (found in cigarette smoke), preventing them from triggering lipoperoxidation mechanisms in the hair follicle.
