RETINOL

Retinol Exel is a solution containing at least 10% of All-Trans-Retinol in caprylic capric triglyceride, stabilized with Tocopherol (Vitamin E).

Vitamin A alcohol (Retinol Approximately 333,300 IU/gram) is an important unsaturated isoprenoid, insoluble in water and soluble in oils and fats, necessary for the growth, differentiation and maintenance of epithelial tissues.

Properties and cosmetic use

It influences the proliferation and differentiation of epithelial cells, being suitable for the treatment of epidermal aging, the disappearance of fine wrinkles and the smoothing of expression lines. It is also postulated to have a certain normalizing action on sebaceous secretion and as a restorer of photo-damaged skin. The Retinol molecule bound to its specific receptor forms a dimer that activates genes containing specific sequences and small DNA sequences in the promoter regions known as retinoid response elements. Transcription of these genes then takes place with subsequent characteristic biological responses.

Nourishing, anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, anti-photoaging creams, emulsions, gels (prior emulsion) and oils. Retinol is also used to combat acne, psoriasis and blemishes.
