WHAT IT SOLVES DECOVEC™

Hair bleaching powders are designed to break down the melanin that gives hair its color through a process of oxidation.
During this oxidation process, part of the hair undergoes hydrolysis. The protective lipid layer of the hair cuticles is broken down and removed. As a result, the hair becomes dry, more porous, and brittle, and loses its tensile strength and elasticity.

Our Product

DecoVec™ consistsof millions of dehydrated liposomes suspended in a highly moisturizing plant-based matrix. The liposome membrane is composed of phospholipids purified from soy lecithin, combined with a cationic polymer that has a high affinity for hair bleached with additive-free bleaching powder.


DecoVec™ iscompatible with all types of bleaching powders. The liposomes are reconstituted when the bleaching powder mixture is prepared with hydrogen peroxide. The reconstituted liposomes help protect the hair fiber during the bleaching process, providing greater moisture, lubrication, strength, elasticity, and reduced porosity. This allows for safer, more efficient, and more intense bleaching.

It is easily incorporated as another component of the bleaching powder during the powder mixing production process. It is resistant to hydrogen peroxide (oxygenated water).

DecoVec™ is easily incorporated as an additional component of the bleaching powder during the powder blending process.

DecoVec™ is resistant to wide pH ranges.

DecoVec™ is resistant to hydrogen peroxide.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

During the bleaching process, DecoVec™penetrates deep into the hair fiber, delivering hydrolyzed collagen and dimethicone, which help reduce hair hydrolysis while softening the hair. It also contains alpha-bisabolol, purified phospholipids from soy lecithin, and vitamin E, which help reduce potential scalp irritation.

EFFICACY OF DECOVEC™


Tensile Strength Test of Hair Treated with:

Both treated hair samples stretch further before reaching the breaking point than the control hair, while tensile strength decreases in both cases.

Hair treated with bleaching powder containing 1%DecoVec™ hasgreater tensile strength than hair treated with bleaching powder without additives.

On the other hand, hair treated with bleaching powder containing 1%DecoVec™ stretchesfurther before reaching the breaking point than hair treated with bleaching powder.


Hair treated with additive-free bleaching powder lost 15.10% of its strength compared to the control hair.

Hair treated with bleaching powder containing 1%DecoVec™ lost4.47% of its strength compared to the control hair.

Hair treated with additive-free bleaching powder appears more porous and dry under an electron microscope.
