LIPCUATS are cationic nanoparticles with a spherical shape, consisting primarily of a membrane made of specially selected plant-derived phospholipids, associated with a cationic polymer, and ranging in size from 100 to 300 nanometers. They transport water-soluble substances within their structure and fat-soluble substances within their lipid membranes. These nano-dispersions, which have a positive (+) surface charge, have a high affinity for hair and skin, to which they adhere strongly. (This phenomenon is called substantivity)


Because LIPCUATS can encapsulate different types of substances, they can perform multiple functions simultaneously. These structures contain and deliver the active ingredients. In doing so, they protect and stabilize them, preventing oxidation and/or denaturation.
