LIPCUATS are spherical CATIONIC NANOPARTICLES, mainly formed by a membrane of phospholipids of vegetable origin specially selected, associated to a cationic polymer whose sizes are of the order of nanometers (between 100 and 300 nm). They transport water-soluble substances inside them and lipid-soluble substances in their lipid membranes. These nano-dispersions whose surface charge is positive (+) have a high affinity for hair and skin to which they strongly adhere (this phenomenon is called substantivity)


Because LIPCUATS can encapsulate different types of substances, they can fulfill several functions at the same time. These structures contain and transport the active ingredients. In doing so, they protect and stabilize them, preventing their oxidation and/or denaturation. And by having a considerable substantivity with the hair fiber, they achieve a longer permanence time on the hair, guaranteeing a better penetration of the active ingredients. This set of situations guarantees a superior efficacy of the formulated hair active ingredients.
